#422: Birthday Post 10-10-10

Hi.. Just got back to my normal life, with easy internet around me now LoL. and my laptop 🙂

And today’s post is all about my Birthday Post.. Yey :).. Everyone said that today is a special day, especially because of the date, 10-10-10. Well, for me, it’s just another 10-10 as usual :p.. It’s maybe because I’m too excited for the Ubud Writers Festival. Well, can say that it’s the best birthday present in my life, to attend such a great event like that, where the top authors are gathering around there, giving speeches, workshops, etc. Cool. Definitely will post about it start from tomorrow, I hope. There is one draft post about my 1st and 2nd day. But haven’t got time in Ubud to finish it. So, i guess, will catch them up in few days later 😀

So, for today, hmm, just look back through a year from Oct 2009. So many great things happened to me, such as :

• finished my university study (from January – August 2010)
• won a competition (Creative Solution Award) and got a Blackberry for that 🙂
• joined a life challenge program, 30 DLBL by Celestine Chua
• attended one of the best six literary festival in the world, Ubud Writers and Readers Festival!
• got a scientific paper accepted in international conference (COLIPS IALP 2010, about eastern asian language) although maybe i can’t attend the conference itself
• got content on my website (LoL.. i bought the domain about 3 years ago, but just about to fill the content, and until now just copy paste it from this wordpress)
• made new friends from DLBL and Personal Excellence Forum + UWRF 🙂

That’s all some milestones in a year between Oct 2009-2010.

I do hope that i can improve myself better from today’s condition.. I also want to achieve some things:

• write non fiction book
• write fiction book
• re-organize my website
• make a lot new friends!

well, i just think of those 4 right now. It’s all things i just want to do as soon as possible, and if i can, before the 2011 start :p..

Anyway,

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOSE WHO GIVE ME BIRTHDAY GREETINGS (I REPLIED ALMOST 150 WALL POST ON FACEBOOK). NICE TO KNOW THAT MANY PEOPLE CARE ABOUT US, ISN’T IT ? HOPE THAT WHAT YOU PRAY FOR ME WILL BE BACK TO YOU ALSO 🙂

and, to close this post, maybe a little poem from me (although i think i don’t like poem, but just try to make it tough)

The only day of a year
when I can be the King of the day
when so many people will pray for me a lot
when every wishes are pointed to me
that day is called birthday

Everyone said that today is special day
especially because of the date
10 – 10 – 10
triple ten, they said
but,
for me,
it’s just another 10-10

What makes this 10-10 special is not the third 10
but, it’s all about the nice greetings I’ve got
from the best friends
any friends
so, thank you my friends
for all the wishes and greetings

22 years old
it’s my number of age
number is always a number, though
another year has passed away

As I’m growing older,
I also have growing dreams,
dreams that live my life,
may this birthday
brings a new spirit

I don’t think it’s quite good poem though.. Is it a poem ? well, i don’t think so.. quite crappy on making poem LoL..

Well, the next posts will be about my holiday in Bali (last month) + Ubud Writers Readers Festival experience last week :p
